 Jide Ogunlana Emerges as Pioneer Chairman of AGN Ogun State Chapter


The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has officially inaugurated its Ogun State Chapter, marking a significant milestone in the Guild’s ongoing expansion across the country. In the historic election conducted by the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Emmanuel Ogugua, Mr. Jide Ogunlana emerged as the Pioneer Chairman of the newly established Ogun State Chapter.



Other members of the maiden executive include Professor Joke Muyiwa as Vice Chairman, Mrs. Bola Akogun as Secretary, Mr. Olajuwon Adeyelu as Assistant Secretary, Miss Grace Ikugbamire as Treasurer, Mr. Adeoye Adesanwo as Director of Guild Services (DGS), Mrs. Adeola Sulaimon as Financial Secretary, Mr. Olayiwola Awakan as Public Relations Officer, and Mr. Tomiwa Alfred Adeb as an executive member.

The emergence of the Ogun State Chapter underscores the visionary leadership of the National President of AGN, Dr. Ejezie Emeka Rollas, MON, whose strategic initiatives continue to strengthen the Guild’s presence nationwide and promote unity, professionalism, and inclusivity within the Nollywood community.

The establishment of the Ogun State Chapter is expected to further advance the Guild’s objectives of promoting creative excellence, cultural engagement, and the welfare of actors across the region.
